It started about a year ago
I was broken from the inside
Rejected and not acknowledged
But suddenly there was this tiny light

A tiny light that reached my heart
A tiny light that gave me hope
The hope to fly, fly truly free
While my stomach felt like it already did

When our conversations increased
The light did also
I didn't see you before
And still this feeling, the feeling I wanted more

11:37pm, we believe that was the time
The moment from where we would be together
We were about to fly
Enthusiasm, Happiness, it made me cry

Then three days later
It was about time
I finally met you
I was so nervous I almost couldn't look at you

We went to the forest
To a place with sight
The sun was shining and we were there
We were together, and that felt right

A lot has happened
You've lightened my life
Helped me with growing
Became the joy of my life

Now about 365 days later
I'm still the happiest guy on earth
I have a pretty girlfriend
Who will even become my wife

Sweetheart, I wanna thank you
Thank you for this wonderful year
The year I met you
It was the happiest year of my life (so far <3)

Now let's go on to the next year
A year that's full of love
Full of happiness and joy
A year of presents and no room for sorrow

I love you so unbelievably much
I'm crying from happiness
And every time I'm with you
I'm sure I want to marry you!!
